In accordance with the Federal Land Policy and Management Act of 1976 and the Federal Advisory Committee Act of 1972, the U.S. Department of the Interior, Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Dominguez- Escalante Advisory Council (Council) will meet as indicated below.

In accordance with the Federal Land Policy and Management Act (FLPMA) and the Federal Advisory Committee Act of 1972 (FACA), the U.S. Department of the Interior, Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Southwest Colorado Resource Advisory Council (RAC) will meet in January, April and October 2012.

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has examined and found suitable for classification for lease and/or conveyance under the provisions of the Recreation and Public Purposes (R&PP) Act, as amended, approximately 8.45 acres of public land in Comanche County, Oklahoma. The Town of Medicine Park proposes to use the land for a public recreational park.

The Assistant Secretary of the Interior proposes to extend the duration of Public Land Order (PLO) No. 6941, for an additional 20-year term. PLO No. 6941 withdrew 30,203.56 acres of public land from settlement, sale, location, or entry under the general land laws, including the United States mining laws, to protect the Bonneville Salt Flats (BSF). This notice also corrects the acreage figure in PLO No. 6941 which should read 30,203.06 acres. This notice gives an opportunity for the public to comment on the proposed withdrawal extension and announces the date, time, and location of a public meeting.

In compliance with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995, the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) invites comments on a proposed collection of information from applicants for membership in advisory committees. After the close of the comment period, the BLM will submit the proposed information collection to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for review and approval.

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) announces the availability of the Record of Decision (ROD) for the project, located in San Diego County. The Secretary of the Interior approved the ROD on December 19, 2011, which constitutes the Department's final decision.

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Colorado State Office is publishing this notice to inform the public of the intent to file the land survey plats listed below, and to afford all affected parties a proper period of time to protest this action, prior to the plat filing.

In accordance with the Federal Land Policy and Management Act (FLPMA), the Federal Advisory Committee Act of 1972 (FACA), and the Federal Lands Recreation Enhancement Act of 2004 (FLREA), the U.S. Department of the Interior, Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Twin Falls District Resource Advisory Council (RAC) and subcommittee for the Jarbidge Resource Management Plan (RMP) will meet as indicated below.

In accordance with the Federal Land Policy and Management Act and the Federal Advisory Committee Act of 1972, the U.S. Department of the Interior, Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Wyoming Resource Advisory Council (RAC) will meet as indicated below.

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) announces the availability of the Record of Decision (ROD)/Approved Amendment to the California Desert Conservation Area (CDCA) Plan, the applicable Resource Management Plan (RMP) for the project site and the surrounding areas, located in the California Desert District. The Secretary of the Interior approved the ROD on December 8, 2011, which constitutes the final decision of the Department.

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) will file the plat of survey of the lands described below in the BLM-Eastern States office in Springfield, Virginia, 30 calendar days from the date of publication in the Federal Register.

The plats of survey described below are scheduled to be officially filed in the New Mexico State Office, Bureau of Land Management, Santa Fe, New Mexico, thirty (30) calendar days from the date of this publication.

In compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969, as amended (NEPA), the Federal Land Policy and Management Act of 1976, as amended (FLPMA), and the Resources Planning Act of 1974, as amended by the National Forest Management Act 1976 (NFMA), the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and the Forest Service (FS) intend to prepare Environmental Impact Statements (EIS) and Supplemental EISs, and by this notice are announcing the beginning of the scoping process to solicit public comments and identify issues. The BLM is the lead agency on these EISs and Supplemental EISs and the FS is participating as a cooperating agency. These EISs/Supplemental EISs will be coordinated under two regions: An Eastern Region and a Western Region. The Eastern Region includes BLM land use plans in the States of Colorado, Wyoming, North Dakota, South Dakota, and portions of Utah and Montana. The Western Region includes BLM land use plans in California, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon, and portions of Utah and Montana. For each of these regions, the FS will include those areas that were identified by the FWS as high priority areas for greater sage-grouse within the NFS units listed below.

In accordance with the Federal Land Policy and Management Act (FLPMA) and the Federal Advisory Committee Act of 1972 (FACA), the U.S. Department of the Interior, Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Idaho Falls District Resource Advisory Council (RAC), will meet as indicated below.

This notice partially terminates the segregative effect of a proposed Alluvial Valley Floor (AVF) coal land exchange as to 961.09 acres of public land located in Big Horn County, Montana. This order opens 360 acres to settlement, sale, location, and entry under the public land laws and the mining and mineral leasing laws. This order also opens 601.09 acres to the mining and mineral leasing laws.

As required by 43 CFR 2650.7(d), notice is hereby given that the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) will issue an appealable decision to Calista Corporation. The decision will approve the conveyance of the surface and subsurface estates in certain lands pursuant to the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act (43 U.S.C. 1601 et seq.). The lands are located south of Tuntutuliak, Alaska, and contain 23.70 acres. Notice of the decision will also be published four times in the Anchorage Daily News.

The United States Forest Service (USFS) has filed an application with the Department of the Interior, Bureau of Land Management (BLM) to extend the duration of Public Land Order (PLO) No. 6928 for an additional 20-year term. PLO No. 6928 withdrew 30 acres of National Forest System land in the Shoshone National Forest from mining in order to protect the USFS Crandall Creek Administrative Site. The withdrawal created by PLO No. 6928 will expire on May 28, 2012, unless extended. This notice also provides an opportunity to comment on the application and proposed action and to request a public meeting.

In accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) of 1969, as amended, and the Federal Land Policy and Management Act of 1976, as amended, the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has prepared the Proposed Resource Management Plan/Final Environmental Impact Statement (Proposed RMP/Final EIS) for the Taos Field Office, New Mexico, and by this Notice is announcing its availability.

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) examined approximately 0.31 acres of public land in Alaska and found it suitable for classification for lease or conveyance to the City of Tenakee Springs under the provisions of the Recreation and Public Purposes (R&PP) Act, as amended, and under Sec. 7 of the Taylor Grazing Act, and Executive Order No. 6910. The City of Tenakee Springs proposes to use the land for a community park and garden, and a community public hot springs bath.

In accordance with the Federal Land Policy and Management Act of 1976 (FLPMA) and the Federal Advisory Committee Act of 1972 (FACA), the U.S. Department of the Interior, Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Rio Grande Natural Area Commission will meet as indicated below.

As required by 43 CFR 2650.7(d), notice is hereby given that the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) will issue an appealable decision to Kuitsarak, Inc. The decision approves the surface estate in the lands described below for conveyance pursuant to the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act (43 U.S.C. 1601 et seq.). The subsurface estate in these lands will be conveyed to Calista Corporation when the surface estate is conveyed to Kuitsarak, Inc. The plats of survey and supplemental plats of lands described below are scheduled to be officially filed in the Bureau of Land Management California State Office, Sacramento, California, thirty (30) calendar days from the date of this publication.

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Hollister Field Office, proposes to sell a parcel of public land totaling approximately 23.42 acres, more or less, in Santa Clara County, California. The public land would be sold for appraised fair market value. The appraised value of the public land is $135,000.
