On April 21, 2011, the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) published a notice in the Federal Register [77 FR 22414] announcing a public meeting in connection with a proposed withdrawal to be held on Monday, May 23, 2011, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the BLM Southern Nevada District Office. The BLM has cancelled the meeting. The BLM will reschedule the meeting later.

Notice is hereby given, in accordance with Public Laws 92-463 and 94-579, that the California Desert District Advisory Council (DAC) to the Bureau of Land Management (BLM), U.S. Department of the Interior, will meet in formal session on Saturday, June 4, 2011, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Handlery Hotel, 950 Hotel Circle North, San Diego, CA 92108. There will be a field trip on Friday, June 3, details of which will be posted on the DAC web page, https://www.blm.gov/ca/st/ en/info/rac/dac.html, when finalized. Agenda topics for the Saturday meeting will include updates by council members and reports from the BLM California Desert District manager and five field office managers. In addition, the agenda will include updates on special recreation permits, council subgroups, and renewable energy. Final agenda items will be posted on the DAC web page listed above.

Pursuant to the provisions of 30 U.S.C. 188(d) and (e), and 43 CFR 3108.2-3(a) and (b), the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) received a petition for reinstatement from John Wolcott, for competitive oil and gas leases NVN-84801 and NVN-84802 on land in Elko County, Nevada. The petition was timely filed and was accompanied by all the rentals due since the leases terminated under the law. No valid leases have been issued affecting the lands.

The petition was timely filed and was accompanied by all the rentals due since the lease terminated under the law. No valid lease has been issued affecting the lands.

Per 30 U.S.C. 188(d), Sonalta Resources Inc. and Koro Energy USA Inc. timely filed a petition for reinstatement of competitive oil and gas leases MTM 94684 and MTM 64685, Stillwater County, Montana. The lessee paid the required rental accruing from the date of termination. No leases were issued that affect these lands. The lessee agrees to new lease terms for rentals and royalties of $10 per acre and 16\2/3\ percent. The lessee paid the $500 administration fee for the reinstatement of each lease and $163 cost for publishing this Notice. The lessee met the requirements for reinstatement of the lease per Section 31 (d) and (e) of the Mineral Leasing Act of 1920 (30 U.S.C. 188). We are proposing to reinstate the leases, effective the date of termination subject to: The original terms and conditions of the lease; The increased rental of $10 per acre; The increased royalty of 16\2/3\ percent; and The $163 cost of publishing this Notice.
