Notice of Realty Action: Application for Conveyance of Mineral Interests, Madera County, CA
This publication supersedes in its entirety the previous publication dated October 18, 2007, found on page 59110, Volume 72, Number 201. The surface owner of the lands described in this notice, aggregating approximately 25 acres, has filed an application for the purchase of the Federally-owned mineral interests in the lands. Publication of this notice temporarily segregates the mineral interest from appropriation under the public land laws, including the mining law.
Notice of Realty Action: (Non-Competitive) Direct Sale of Public Lands, Bonneville County, ID
The following described 1.25-acre public land parcel near Swan Valley, Bonneville County, Idaho, has been examined and found suitable for title transfer by (non-competitive) direct sale to Dale E. McDowell, Louise J. Prudhomme and George McDowell reserving a conservation easement to the United States. The sale will be conducted under the authority of section 203(f)(2) of the Federal Land Policy and Management Act of 1976, as amended, 43 U.S.C. 1701 et. seq. Arizona: Temporary Closure of Public Lands; Yuma Field Office
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Yuma Field Office, announces the temporary closure of selected public lands under its administration in La Paz County, Arizona. The area affected by this closure is the location of a former mineral material site that is the subject of an ongoing mineral material trespass investigation. The site in its current condition presents numerous physical hazards to the public including open pits, steep drop-offs, and unstable slopes. This action is taken to provide for public safety, prevent theft, and protect natural and cultural resources.

Notice of Realty Action: Non-Competitive Lease of Public Land in Pondera County, MT
The public land proposed for lease includes about five acres which has a long history of use by the family that owns the improvements on it. The historic cabin and other limited improvements are associated with adjacent private land that was homesteaded and patented in 1907. The previous lessee passed away unbeknownst to BLM and the lease expired. However, the family continued to pay the rent in the interim. Members of the family are now seeking to lease the land again because they own the improvements and have long-standing historical family ties to the property. The five-acre tract is adjacent to the applicant's private land and is part of the applicant's BLM grazing allotment. Disposal of the land at this time via public sale is not an option because it is within a retention zone per the Land Use Plan for that area. The following described public lands are suitable for lease under Section 302 of the Federal Land Policy and Management Act of 1976, 43 U.S.C. 1732:

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) proposes to sell a 0.07 acre parcel of federally owned land in Siskiyou County, located in Yreka, California. The public land has been examined and found suitable for disposal utilizing direct sale procedures. The authority for the sale is established under sections 203 and 209 of the Federal Land Policy and Management Act of 1976 (FLPMA) (43 U.S.C. 1713 and 1719) and the Federal Land Transaction Facilitation Act (FLTFA) of July 25, 2000, (43 U.S.C. 2301).
Notice of Proposed Withdrawal Extension and Opportunity for Public Meeting; Montana
The Department of the Interior proposes to extend the duration of Public Land Order (PLO) No. 6664 for an additional 20-year term. PLO No. 6664 withdrew 840 acres of public lands in Carbon County, Montana, from settlement, sale, location, or entry under the general land laws, including the United States mining laws to protect the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Petroglyph Canyon and Weatherman Draw archeological sites. This notice also gives an opportunity to comment on the proposed action and to request a public meeting. The lands have been and will remain open to mineral leasing.

Termination of Desert Land Entry and Carey Act Classifications
This notice terminates Desert Land Entry and Carey Act Classifications on 120 acres of land in Owyhee County as these classifications are no longer needed. A portion of these lands will be exchanged pursuant to section 206 of the Federal Land Policy and Management Act of 1976.
Recreation and Public Purposes (R&PP) Act Classification; New Mexico
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has determined that land located in Santa Fe County, New Mexico is suitable for classification for lease or conveyance to Museum of New Mexico Board of Regents, a statutorily created body of the State of New Mexico, under the authority of the Recreation and Public Purposes Act (R&PP), as amended (43 U.S.C. 869 et seq.). The Museum of New Mexico plans to use the land for an official repository for the purpose of alleviating the present substandard, overcrowded collection storage conditions for archaeological collections and for meeting the need for centralized research, education, and support facilities.
Notice of Temporary One-Day Recreational Shooting Closure
To comply with 43 CFR 8365.1-4(a)(2) Public Health, Safety and Comfort, approximately 6,000 acres of public lands in the Table Mesa Road area, north of Phoenix, Arizona, will be temporarily closed to recreational shooting and all other potentially unsafe or conflicting activities on October 20, 2007 during an all-day BLM sponsored National Public Lands Day (NPLD) volunteer clean-up project.

In the Federal Register notice document 01-8406 beginning on page 18109 in the issue of Thursday, April 5, 2003, make the following correction: On page 18109 in the third column the legal description reads, ``sec. 6, SE1/4NW1/4, SW1/4NE1/4''. Alaska Native Claims Selection
As required by 43 CFR 2650.7(d), notice is hereby given that an appealable decision approving lands for conveyance pursuant to the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act will be issued to Levelock Natives, Limited. The lands are in the vicinity of Levelock, Alaska, and are located in: Seward Meridian, Alaska, T. 10 S., R. 44 W., Sec. 27. Containing 640 acres. The subsurface estate in these lands will be conveyed to Bristol Bay Native Corporation when the surface estate is conveyed to Levelock Natives, Limited. Notice of the decision will also be published four times in the Bristol Bay Times.
Public Land Order No. 7681; Revocation of the Withdrawal Established by Executive Orders Dated December 11, 1848 and May 28, 1858; Withdrawal and Transfer of Jurisdiction; Wisconsin
This order revokes two withdrawals established by Executive Orders in their entirety as to approximately 328.70 acres of public lands withdrawn from surface entry and reserved for use by the United States Coast Guard for Plum and Pilot Island Light Stations in Door County, Wisconsin. This order also transfers administrative jurisdiction of the lands from the United States Coast Guard to the United States Fish and Wildlife Service, and withdraws the lands from surface entry for a period of 50 years for inclusion in the Green Bay National Wildlife Refuge.
