The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is considering issuance of an amendment to Renewed Facility Operating License No. NPF- 42, issued to Wolf Creek Nuclear Operating Corporation, for operation of the Wolf Creek Generating Station, Unit 1. The proposed amendment would modify the implementation date of License Amendment No. 238 for Wolf Creek Generating Station, Unit 1.
Regulatory Guide: Qualification of Safety-Related Actuators in Production and Utilization Facilities
The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is issuing Revision 2 to Regulatory Guide (RG) 1.73, ``Qualification of Safety- Related Actuators in Production and Utilization Facilities.'' This RG describes an approach that is acceptable to the staff of the NRC to meet regulatory requirements for the qualification of safety-related actuators for production and utilization facilities.
