The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is issuing an order approving the application filed by Susquehanna Nuclear, LLC (Susquehanna Nuclear), on behalf of itself and the unsecured creditors of Talen Energy Supply, LLC, on September 29, 2022, as supplemented. Specifically, the order approves the indirect transfer of control of Susquehanna Nuclear's interests in the operating licenses for the Susquehanna Steam Electric Station (Susquehanna), Units 1 and 2 and the general license for the Susquehanna independent spent fuel storage installation, and conforming administrative amendments to the operating licenses.
