Meeting of Humanities Panel
The National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) will hold eleven meetings, by video conference, of the Humanities Panel, a federal advisory committee, during April 2025. The purpose of the meetings is for panel review, discussion, evaluation, and recommendation of applications for financial assistance under the National Foundation on the Arts and the Humanities Act of 1965.
60-Day Notice for the “ArtsHERE Grant Program Forms” Proposed Collection; Comment Request
The National Endowment for the Arts (NEA), as part of its continuing effort to reduce paperwork and respondent burden, conducts a preclearance consultation program to provide the general public and Federal agencies with an opportunity to comment on proposed and/or continuing collections of information in accordance with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995. This program helps to ensure that requested data can be provided in the desired format, reporting burden (time and financial resources) is minimized, collection instruments are clearly understood, and the impact of collection requirements on respondents can be properly assessed. Currently, the NEA is soliciting comments concerning the proposed revision of collections of subgrantee information and technical assistance provider information for the ArtsHERE grant program. A copy of the current information collection request can be obtained by contacting the office listed below in the address section of this notice.
Meeting of National Council on the Humanities
Pursuant to the Federal Advisory Committee Act, notice is hereby given that the National Council on the Humanities will meet to advise the Chair of the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) with respect to policies, programs and procedures for carrying out her functions; to review applications for financial assistance under the National Foundation on the Arts and Humanities Act of 1965 and make recommendations thereon to the Chair; and to consider gifts offered to NEH and make recommendations thereon to the Chair.
National Council on the Arts 215th Meeting
Pursuant to section 10(a)(2) of the Federal Advisory Committee Act, as amended, notice is hereby given that a meeting of the National Council on the Arts will be held open to the public by videoconference. An additional session will be closed to the public for reasons stated below.
