74th Meeting of the President's Committee on the Arts and the Humanities
Pursuant to the Federal Advisory Committee Act, notice is hereby given that the President's Committee on the Arts and the Humanities. On September 13, 2023, the Committee will meet to carry out administrative functions and to consider preliminary recommendations for agency action. On September 14, 2023, the Committee will meet to deliberate on recommendations for agency action.
60-Day Notice for the “Generic Clearance for the Collection of Qualitative Feedback on Agency Service Delivery”
The National Endowment for the Arts (NEA), as part of its continuing effort to reduce paperwork and respondent burden, conducts a preclearance consultation program to provide the general public and Federal agencies with an opportunity to comment on proposed and/or continuing collections of information in accordance with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995. This program helps to ensure that requested data can be provided in the desired format, reporting burden (time and financial resources) is minimized, collection instruments are clearly understood, and the impact of collection requirements on respondents can be properly assessed. Currently, the NEA is soliciting comments concerning the proposed information collection for Generic Clearance for the Collection of Qualitative Feedback on Agency Service Delivery. Meeting of Humanities Panel
The National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) will hold five meetings, by videoconference, of the Humanities Panel, a federal advisory committee, during September 2023. The purpose of the meetings is for panel review, discussion, evaluation, and recommendation of applications for financial assistance under the National Foundation on the Arts and the Humanities Act of 1965.
Notice of Proposed Information Collection Requests: Native Hawaiian Library Services Grants Notice of Funding Opportunity
The Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS), as part of its continuing effort to reduce paperwork and respondent burden, conducts a pre-clearance consultation program to provide the general public and federal agencies with an opportunity to comment on proposed and/or continuing collections of information in accordance with the Paperwork Reduction Act. Removal of Freedom of Information Act Regulations
This rule rescinds the National Foundation on the Arts and the Humanities' (the ``Foundation'') regulations implementing the Freedom of Information Act (``FOIA''). These regulations are obsolete because each of the Foundation's constituent agenciesthe National Endowment for the Arts (``NEA''), the National Endowment for the Humanities (``NEH''), the Institute of Museum and Library Services (``IMLS''), and the Federal Council on the Arts and the Humanities (``FCAH'')either have adopted their own, agency-specific regulations, or are not required to implement Freedom of Information Act regulations.

Pursuant to the Federal Advisory Committee Act, as amended, notice is hereby given that 21 meetings of the Arts Advisory Panel to the National Council on the Arts will be held by teleconference or videoconference.
