Meeting of National Council on the Humanities
Pursuant to section 10(a)(2) of the Federal Advisory Committee Act (5 U.S.C. App.), notice is hereby given that the National Council on the Humanities will meet for the following purposes: to advise the Acting Chairman of the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) with respect to policies, programs and procedures for carrying out her functions; to review applications for financial assistance under the National Foundation on the Arts and Humanities Act of 1965 (20 U.S.C. 951-960, as amended) and make recommendations thereon to the Acting Chairman; and to consider gifts offered to NEH and make recommendations thereon to the Acting Chairman.
Meetings of Humanities Panel
Pursuant to section 10(a)(2) of the Federal Advisory Committee Act, notice is hereby given that 25 meetings of the Humanities Panel will be held during July, 2013 as follows. The purpose of the meetings is for panel review, discussion, evaluation, and recommendation of applications for financial assistance under the National Foundation on the Arts and Humanities Act of 1965, as amended.
Technical Amendments To Reflect the Authorizing Legislation of the Institute of Museum and Library Services
The Institute of Museum and Library amends its grants regulations by removing outdated regulations and making certain technical amendments to reflect Congress' reauthorization of the Institute of Museum and Library Services under the Museum and Library Services Act of 2010, as further amended by the Presidential Appointment Efficiency and Streamlining Act of 2011. The amendments also reorganize certain regulations to provide greater clarity for agency applicants and grantees.

Pursuant to section 10(a)(2) of the Federal Advisory Committee Act (Pub. L. 92-463), as amended, notice is hereby given that a meeting of the National Council on the Arts will be held at the Nancy Hanks Center, 1100 Pennsylvania Avenue NW., Washington, DC 20506.
Proposed Collection: Comment Request
The National Endowment for the Arts, as part of its continuing effort to reduce paperwork and respondent burden, conducts a preclearance consultation program to provide the general public and Federal agencies with an opportunity to comment on proposed and/or continuing collections of information in accordance with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 (PRA95) [44 U.S.C. 3506(c)(A)]. This program helps ensure that requested data can be provided in the desired format, reporting burden (time and financial resources) is minimized, collection instruments are clearly understood, and the impact of collection requirements on respondents can be properly assessed. Currently, the National Endowment for the Arts, on behalf of the Federal Council on the Arts and the Humanities, is soliciting comments concerning renewal of the Application for Indemnification. A copy of this collection request can be obtained by contacting the office listed below in the address section of this notice.
