Records Schedules; Availability and Request for Comments
The National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) publishes notice at least once monthly of certain Federal agency requests for records disposition authority (records schedules). Once approved by NARA, records schedules provide mandatory instructions on what happens to records when agencies no longer need them for current Government business. The records schedules authorize agencies to preserve records of continuing value in the National Archives of the United States and to destroy, after a specified period, records lacking administrative, legal, research, or other value. NARA publishes notice in the Federal Register for records schedules in which agencies propose to destroy records not previously authorized for disposal or reduce the retention period of records already authorized for disposal. NARA invites public comments on such records schedules.
Agency Information Collection Activities: Proposed Collection; Comment Request
NARA proposes to request an extension from the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) of approval to use two information collections. The first is used by researchers who wish to do biomedical statistical research in archival records containing highly personal information. The second is prepared by organizations that want to make paper-to-paper copies of archival holdings with their personal copiers at the National Archives at the College Park facility. We invite you to comment on these proposed information collections pursuant to the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995.
Advisory Committee on the Records of Congress; Meeting
In accordance with the Federal Advisory Committee Act, the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) announces a meeting of the Advisory Committee on the Records of Congress. The committee advises NARA on the full range of programs, policies, and plans for the Center for Legislative Archives in the Office of Legislative Archives, Presidential Libraries, and Museum Services (LPM).

George W. Bush Presidential Library; Disposal of Presidential Records
The National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) has identified certain Presidential records from the George W. Bush Presidential Library as appropriate for disposal under the provisions of 44 U.S.C. 2203(f)(3). This notice describes our reasons for determining that these records do not warrant retaining any longer. This notice does not constitute a final agency action, as described in 44 U.S.C. 2203(f)(3), and we will not dispose of any Presidential records following this notice. After reviewing any comments we receive during this 45-day notice and comment period, we will make a decision on the records. If we decide to dispose of them, we will issue a second, 60-day advance notice, which constitutes a final agency action.
Privacy Act of 1974, as Amended; System of Records Notice
The National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) proposes to revise its system of records on visitor services in its existing inventory of systems subject to the Privacy Act of 1974, as amended (``Privacy Act''). In this notice, NARA publishes the proposed revised NARA 39, Visitor Service System (VSS) Files (formerly Visitor Ticketing Application (VISTA) Files). NARA is revising SORN 39 to reflect a move to a cloud-hosted environment, which affects the system name, location information, and safeguards.
