NASA Advisory Council; Science Committee; Astrophysics Subcommittee; Meeting
In accordance with the Federal Advisory Committee Act, Public Law 92-463, as amended, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) announces a meeting of the Astrophysics Subcommittee of the NASA Advisory Council (NAC). This Subcommittee reports to the Science Committee of the NAC. The Meeting will be held for the purpose of soliciting from the scientific community and other persons scientific and technical information relevant to program planning.

Federal Acquisition Regulation; Submission for OMB Review; Reporting Purchases From Sources Outside the United States
Under the provisions of the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 (44 U.S.C. Chapter 35), the Regulatory Secretariat will be submitting to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) a request to review and approve an extension of a currently approved information collection requirement concerning reporting purchases from sources outside the United States. Public comments are particularly invited on: Whether this collection of information is necessary for the proper performance of functions of the FAR, and whether it will have practical utility; whether our estimate of the public burden of this collection of information is accurate, and based on valid assumptions and methodology; ways to enhance the quality, utility, and clarity of the information to be collected; and ways in which we can minimize the burden of the collection of information on those who are to respond, through the use of appropriate technological collection techniques or other forms of information technology.

Notice of Intent To Grant Partially Exclusive License
This notice is issued in accordance with 35 U.S.C. 209(e) and 37 CFR 404.7(a)(1)(i). NASA hereby gives notice of its intent to grant a partially exclusive license in the United States to practice the invention described and claimed in U.S. Patent No. 6,918,970 High Strength Aluminum Alloy for High Temperature Applications, NASA Case No. MFS-31828-1, to Allied Metal Company having its principal place of business in Chicago, IL. The fields of use may be limited to the manufacture of aluminum alloy ingots. The patent rights in this invention have been assigned to the United States of America as represented by the Administrator of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration. The prospective partially exclusive license will comply with the terms and conditions of 35 U.S.C. 209 and 37 CFR 404.7.
Information Collection; Request for Authorization of Additional Classification and Rate, Standard Form 1444
Under the provisions of the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 (44 U.S.C. Chapter 35), the Regulatory Secretariat will be submitting to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) a request to review and approve a reinstatement of a previously approved information collection requirement concerning Request for Authorization of Additional Classification and Rate, Standard Form 1444.
Performance Review Board, Senior Executive Service (SES)
The Civil Service Reform Act of 1978, Public Law 95-454 (Section 405) requires that appointments of individual members to the Performance Review Board (PRB) be published in the Federal Register. The National Aeronautics and Space Administration published a document in the Federal Register on October 12, 2010, announcing membership of the Performance Review Board (PRB) and the Senior Executive Committee. In addition to the members previously announced, another member was added to the PRB, Associate Administrator for Independent Program and Cost Evaluation.
