Submission for OMB Review; OMB Control No. 9000-0012, Termination Settlement Proposal Forms-FAR (Standard Forms 1435 Through 1440)
Under the provisions of the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 (44 U.S.C. Chapter 35), the Regulatory Secretariat will be submitting to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) a request to review and approve an extension of a currently approved information collection requirement concerning Termination Settlement Proposal FormsFAR (Standard Forms 1435 through 1440). Public comments are particularly invited on: Whether this collection of information is necessary for the proper performance of functions of the FAR, and whether it will have practical utility; whether our estimate of the public burden of this collection of information is accurate, and based on valid assumptions and methodology; ways to enhance the quality, utility, and clarity of the information to be collected; and ways in which we can minimize the burden of the collection of information on those who are to respond, through the use of appropriate technological collection techniques or other forms of information technology.
Temporary Duty (TDY) Travel Allowances
This bulletin provides guidance to employees of agencies subject to the FTR to enhance travel cost savings and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. This guidance will improve management of agency travel programs, save money on travel costs, better protect the environment, and conserve natural resources. Other agencies not subject to the FTR are also encouraged to follow this guidance and incorporate these strategies into their travel management policies, procedures, and activities related to official travel. Federal Travel Regulation (FTR); Lodging and Transportation Amendment
The General Services Administration (GSA) is amending the Federal Travel Regulation (FTR) by revising and updating its policy on lodging and transportation. This final rule also updates an acronym and references to such in the FTR.
Federal Acquisition Regulation; Submission for OMB Review; Prospective Subcontractor Requests for Bonds
Under the provisions of the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 (44 U.S.C. Chapter 35), the Regulatory Secretariat will be submitting to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) a request to review and approve an extension of a previously approved information collection concerning subcontractor requests for bonds. A notice published in the Federal Register at 75 FR 28808 on May 24, 2010 and one comment was received. Public comments are particularly invited on: Whether this collection of information is necessary for the proper performance of functions of the FAR, and whether it will have practical utility; whether our estimate of the public burden of this collection of information is accurate, and based on valid assumptions and methodology; ways to enhance the quality, utility, and clarity of the information to be collected; and ways in which we can minimize the burden of the collection of information on those who are to respond, through the use of appropriate technological collection techniques or other forms of information technology.
Federal Acquisition Regulation; Sudan Waiver Process
The Civilian Agency Acquisition Council and the Defense Acquisition Regulations Council (the Councils) are proposing to amend the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) to revise section 25.702, Prohibition on contracting with entities that conduct restricted business operations in Sudan, to add specific criteria that an agency must address in a waiver request and a waiver consultation process regarding foreign policy aspects of the waiver request for consultations. This information will be provided, in a waiver request, to the President or his appointed designee for consideration on whether the prohibition on awarding a contract to a contractor that conducts business in Sudan should be waived.

Public comments are particularly invited on: Whether this collection of information is necessary for the proper performance of functions of the Reporting and Use of Information Concerning Integrity and Performance of Recipients of Grants and Cooperative Agreements, whether it will have practical utility; whether our estimate of the public burden of this collection of information is accurate, and based on valid assumptions and methodology; ways to enhance the quality, utility, and clarity of the information to be collected; and ways in which we can minimize the burden of the collection of information on those who are to respond, through the use of appropriate technological collection techniques or other forms of information technology.
