The Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS), as part of its continuing effort to reduce paperwork and respondent burden, conducts a pre-clearance consultation program to provide the general public and federal agencies with an opportunity to comment on proposed and/or continuing collections of information in accordance with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 (PRA95) (44 U.S.C.. 3506(c)(2)(A)). This program helps to ensure that requested data can be provided in the desired format, reporting burden (time and financial resources) is minimized, collection instruments are clearly understood, and the impact of collection requirement on respondents can be properly assessed. Currently, CNCS is soliciting comments concerning its proposed renewal of the Segal AmeriCorps Education Award Matching Program Commitment Form. This form is submitted by institutions of higher education that provide educational benefits for AmeriCorps alumni. These benefits can include matching the AmeriCorps Education Award that members receive after successful completion of the AmeriCorps program, scholarships, and application fee waivers. Completion of this information collection is required for institutions to enroll in the Segal AmeriCorps Education Award Matching Program and appear on the Segal AmeriCorps Education Award Matching Program section of the Corporation for National and Community Service Web site. The Honor Roll is part of the Corporation for National and Community Service's strategic commitment to engage millions of college students in service and celebrate the critical role of higher education in strengthening communities. This information collection does not result in grant funding from the Corporation for National and Community Service or other federal agencies. The GPR provides information for CNCS staff to monitor grantee progress and to respond to requests from Congress and other stakeholders. Proposed Revision of the Corporation for National and Community Service Strategic Plan; Request for Input

The Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS) is revising its Strategic Plan. The current CNCS Strategic Plan was approved in 2011. All Federal Agencies are required to publish an updated Strategic Plan, concurrent with the publication of the FY 2015 President's Budget in February 2014. After the February 2014 publication of a strategic plan, agencies will next issue a new Strategic Plan in February 2018. CNCS's updated Strategic Plan will reflect the broad, long term outcomes that the CNCS aspires to achieve by implementing its mission. We invite grantees, partners, future partners, and the public to submit written comments, as described below. Please see the Supplementary Information section below for information on developing your comments. The goal of this public comment process is solicit input on CNCS's updated Strategic Plan in accordance with CNCS's commitment to maintain high standards of transparency and openness. As appropriate, public input received will be included in the updated Strategic Plan, however CNCS will be able not provide individual responses to the public comments that are received.

Currently, CNCS is soliciting comments concerning the new eGrants performance measurement module for the Social Innovation Fund (SIF), instructions for completing the performance measurement module, and the revised SIF performance progress report. Grantees will use the new performance measurement module to select targets for measures when applying for new or continuation funds. Grantees will report progress on these measures through the revised performance progress report. Completion of quarterly progress reports is required as a condition of the award.
