Information Collection; Submission for OMB Review, Comment Request
The Corporation for National and Community Service (hereinafter the ``Corporation''), has submitted a public information collection request (ICR) entitled AmeriCorps Member Feedback Survey (formerly known as Performance Measurement in AmeriCorps) for review and approval in accordance with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995, Public Law 104-13, (44 U.S.C. Chapter 35). Copies of this ICR, with applicable supporting documentation, may be obtained by calling the Corporation for National and Community Service, Nathan Dietz, at (202) 606-6633 or e-mail to ndietz@cns.gov. Proposed Information Collection; Comment Request
The Corporation for National and Community Service (hereinafter the ``Corporation''), as part of its continuing effort to reduce paperwork and respondent burden, conducts a pre-clearance consultation program to provide the general public and federal agencies with an opportunity to comment on proposed and/or continuing collections of information in accordance with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 (PRA95) (44 U.S.C. 3506(c)(2)(A)). This program helps to ensure that requested data can be provided in the desired format, reporting burden (time and financial resources) is minimized, collection instruments are clearly understood, and the impact of collection requirement on respondents can be properly assessed. Currently, the Corporation is soliciting comments concerning its proposed renewal of its Office of Strategy and Special Initiatives Training and Technical Assistance Cooperative Agreement Application. This application is used by current and prospective grantees to apply for funds to support training and technical assistance to Corporation grantees funded through AmeriCorps, and Senior Corps, and VISTA Sponsors and NCCC Campuses. Completion of the Grant Application is required to be considered for and obtain a Corporation cooperative agreement to provide training and technical assistance services to Corporation grantees and sub-grantees. This Application was developed to collect applicant information for the hiring of NCCC team leaders at each of the five NCCC campuses. The application will be completed by prospective NCCC team leaders, during each campus hire cycle. Completion of this information collection is required to be selected as an NCCC team leader. Retired and Senior Volunteer Program Amendments
The Corporation for National and Community Service (Corporation) is issuing a final rule that sets forth a competitive process for selecting grant recipients for the Retired and Service Volunteer Program (RSVP), including performance measurement requirements, as required by the Domestic Volunteer Service Act (DVSA), as amended by the Edward M. Kennedy Serve America Act (Serve America Act) (Pub. L. 111-13) of April 21, 2009.
