As required by the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995, the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announces a submission to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), requesting an extension of approval for a collection regarding a form used to verify whether pools and spas are in compliance with the Virginia Graeme Baker Pool and Spa Safety Act. In the Federal Register of June 14, 2019, the CPSC published a notice to announce the agency's intention to seek extension of approval of the collection of information. CPSC received one comment, and that comment supported the information collection. Therefore, by publication of this notice, CPSC announces that it has submitted to the OMB a request for extension of approval of that collection of information, without change.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission (Commission or CPSC) is considering developing a rule to address the risk of injury and death associated with carbon monoxide (CO) production and leakage from residential gas furnaces and boilers. This advance notice of proposed rulemaking (ANPR) initiates a rulemaking proceeding under the Consumer Product Safety Act (CPSA). We invite comments concerning the risk of injury associated with CO production and leakage from residential gas furnaces and boilers, the alternatives discussed in this ANPR, and other possible alternatives for addressing the risk. We also invite interested parties to submit existing voluntary standards or a statement of intent to modify or develop a voluntary standard that addresses the risk of injury described in this document.
Revisions to Safety Standard for Carriages and Strollers

In March 2014, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) published a consumer product safety standard for carriages and strollers. The standard incorporated by reference the applicable ASTM voluntary standard. ASTM has since published two revisions to the voluntary standard for carriages and strollers. We are publishing this direct final rule revising the CPSC's mandatory standard for carriages and strollers to incorporate, by reference, the most recent version of the applicable ASTM standard.
Statement of Policy on Enforcement Discretion Regarding General Conformity Certificates for the Requirements of the Refrigerator Safety Act

The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) is issuing a Statement of Policy regarding the CPSC's enforcement of the requirement for a general conformity assessment certificate regarding CPSC's standard for household refrigerators. CPSC will not enforce the requirements to issue a general certificate of conformity for household refrigerators if the product displays an appropriate safety certification mark indicating compliance.

As required under the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 (PRA), the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announces that CPSC has submitted to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) a new proposed collection of information by the agency on a survey that will evaluate consumer awareness or recognition of CPSC's ``Anchor It!'' campaign. On April 8, 2019, the CPSC published a notice in the Federal Register announcing the agency's intent to seek approval of this collection of information. The CPSC received no comments in response to that notice. Therefore, by publication of this notice, the CPSC announces that it has submitted to the OMB a request for approval of this collection of information.
