Derivatives Clearing Organization General Provisions and Core Principles
On May 16, 2019, the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (Commission) published in the Federal Register a notice of proposed rulemaking (NPRM) titled Derivatives Clearing Organization General Provisions and Core Principles. The comment period for the NPRM closes on July 15, 2019. The Commission is extending the comment period for this NPRM by an additional 60 days.
Foreign Futures and Options Transactions
The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (Commission) is proposing amendments to certain provisions of its regulations governing the offer and sale of foreign futures and options to customers located in the United States of America (U.S.). The proposed amendments would codify the process by which the Commission may terminate exemptive relief issued pursuant to those regulations.
