Pressurized Water Reactor Control Rod Ejection and Boiling Water Reactor Control Rod Drop Accidents; Correction
The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is correcting a notice that was published in the Federal Register on July 30, 2019, regarding reissuing for public comment draft regulatory guide (DG), DG- 1327, ``Pressurized Water Reactor Control Rod Ejection and Boiling Water Reactor Control Rod Drop Accidents.'' This action is necessary to correct the NRC Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) number of the DG for which NRC is soliciting comments. The public comment period was originally scheduled to close on October 30, 2019. The NRC has decided to extend the public comment period to allow more time for members of the public to develop and submit their comments.

Integrated Resource Plan
The Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) has decided to adopt the preferred alternative in its final environmental impact statement (Final EIS) for the Integrated Resource Plan (IRP). The TVA Board of Directors approved the IRP and authorized staff to implement the preferred alternative at its August 22, 2019 meeting. This alternative, identified as the Target Power Supply Mix in the Final EIS, will guide TVA's selection of energy resource options to meet the energy needs of the Tennessee Valley region over the next 20 years. The energy resource options include continued investment in TVA's hydroelectric resources, license renewal for nuclear resources, expansion of solar and natural gas-fired generation, increased energy efficiency, demand response, and energy storage, and decreased coal-fired generation.

Comments are requested concerning: Whether the proposed collection of information is necessary for the proper performance of the functions of the Commission, including whether the information shall have practical utility; the accuracy of the Commission's burden estimate; ways to enhance the quality, utility, and clarity of the information collected; ways to minimize the burden of the collection of information on the respondents, including the use of automated collection techniques or other forms of information technology; and ways to further reduce the information collection burden on small business concerns with fewer than 25 employees. The FCC may not conduct or sponsor a collection of information unless it displays a currently valid Office of Management and Budget (OMB) control number. No person shall be subject to any penalty for failing to comply with a collection of information subject to the PRA that does not display a valid OMB control number.
