The Office Head Start (OHS), Administration for Children and Families (ACF), U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), is requesting a three-year extension of the Head Start Program Performance Standards (HSPPS) information collection (OMB #0970-0148, expiration 1/ 31/2020). There are no changes requested to these record keeping requirements.

The Office of Community Services (OCS), Administration for Children and Families (ACF) is requesting approval of a three-year extension of the Assets for Independence (AFI) Performance Progress Report (PPR) Long Form and AFI PPR Short Form (OMB #0970-0483, expiration 8/31/2019). There are no changes requested to the forms.

The Office of Child Support Enforcement; Administration for Children and Families (ACF) is requesting a three-year extension of the National Directory of New Hires (OMB #0970-0166, expiration 7/31/2019). The NDNH Guide for Data Submission/Record Specifications and the Multistate Employer Registration form underwent minor revisions.

Pursuant to the Improving Head Start for School Readiness Act of 2007, notice is hereby given of six 1-day Tribal Consultation (TC) Sessions to be held between the HHS)/ACF, OHS leadership and the leadership of tribal governments operating Head Start (including Early Head Start) programs. The purpose of these consultation sessions is to discuss ways to better meet the needs of American Indian and Alaska Native children and their families, taking into consideration funding allocations, distribution formulas, and other issues affecting the delivery of Head Start services in their geographic locations. Six TCs will be held as part of HHS/ACF and/or ACF TC Sessions.

The Office of Planning, Research, and Evaluation (OPRE) is proposing a data collection activity as part of the State Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) Case Studies project. This study seeks to document innovative employment and training programs for low- income individuals including TANF recipients and examine the ways the programs provide or link families to wraparound services. Over a three- year period, the study will conduct up to 12 comprehensive qualitative case studies and up to 20 profiles of innovative programs to showcase promising approaches.

The Administration for Children and Families (ACF) is requesting revision of the ACF-118A (OMB # 0970-0198, with expiration 06/30/2019), with minor modifications.

The Administration for Children and Families (ACF) is requesting a revision of the CCWIS information collection authorized by the CCWIS Final Rule (81 FR 35450-35482). The Automated Function List and the Data Quality Plan are revised to be annual submissions of updates with no change to the burden hours per year. Initial submission of the Automated Function List, the Data Quality Plan, and the Notice of Intent have been removed, as we do not expect to receive more than the Paperwork Reduction Act (PRA) threshold in a single year. There are no required instruments associated with this data collection.
