Power Boat Event and Air Show.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: On July 9,
2024, at 89 FR 56209, the Coast Guard
FOR FURTHER INFORMATION CONTACT:
updated its special local regulations for
marine events in the Fifth District. In
that rule, the Coast Guard sought to add
Tiki Lee’s Shootout on the River High
Speed Power Boat Event and Air Show
to the list of events in North Carolina in
33 CFR 100.501. However, due to a
faulty instruction, the Coast Guard was
unable to add the event. This rule
corrects that error.

necessary to facilitate the construction
of the new replacement Portal Bridge
North, as designed by Amtrak as the
owner of the bridge, adjacent to the
current Amtrak Portal Bridge. This final
rulemaking limits the extent of the
opening of the Amtrak Portal Bridge in
the horizontal position to prevent the
swing span from striking the new Portal
Bridge North during construction.

Drawbridge Operation Regulation;

There we stated why we issued the
NPRM and invited comments on our
proposed regulatory action related to
this regulatory change. During the
comment period that ended November
4, 2024, we received two comments, and
those comments are addressed in
Section IV of this Final Rule.
