AGENCY:
The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory
Commission (NRC) will convene a
meeting of the Advisory Committee on
the Medical Uses of Isotopes (ACMUI)
on April 7–8, 2025. A sample of agenda
items to be discussed include: a review
of recent medical events, evaluation of
recent Y–90 microsphere medical events
to identify potential cause of sudden
increase in reported events involving
unexpected GI deposition,
recommendations to the NRC on
knowledge topics encompassing the
safety related characteristics of emerging
medical technologies, recommendations
regarding development of process
checklists to minimize medical events,

written statement should submit an

submittals must be received by the close
of business on April 1, 2025, and must
only pertain to the topics on the agenda.
2. Questions and comments from
members of the public will be permitted

Nuclear Regulatory

ACTION: Proposed state agreement;
request for comment.
AGENCY:
As required by Section 274e.
of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as
amended (AEA), the U.S. Nuclear
Regulatory Commission (NRC or
Commission) is publishing the proposed
Agreement for public comment
(Appendix A). The NRC is also
publishing the summary of a draft
assessment by the NRC staff of the State
of Connecticut’s regulatory program.
Comments are requested on the
proposed Agreement and its effect on
public health and safety. Comments are
also requested on the draft staff
assessment, the adequacy of the State of
Connecticut’s program, and the
