of springs, bellows, shafts, slide
bearings, auxiliary arms, plunger rods,
and spacers; and, custom machined arc
chamber isolators of ceramic (duty rate
ranges from duty-free to 5.8%). The
request indicates that the materials/
components are subject to duties under
section 1702(a)(1)(B) of the International
Emergency Economic Powers Act
(section 1702) and section 301 of the
Trade Act of 1974 (section 301),
depending on the country of origin. The
applicable section 1702 and section 301
decisions require subject merchandise
to be admitted to FTZs in privileged
foreign status (19 CFR 146.41).
Public comment is invited from
interested parties. Submissions shall be
addressed to the Board’s Executive
Secretary and sent to: ftz@trade.gov. The
closing period for their receipt is April
28, 2025.
A copy of the notification will be
available for public inspection in the
‘‘Online FTZ Information System’’
section of the Board’s website.

On November 14, 2024, Corteva
Agriscience, LLC submitted a
notification of proposed production
activity to the FTZ Board for its facility
within Subzone 144A, in Valdosta,
Georgia.
The notification was processed in
accordance with the regulations of the
FTZ Board (15 CFR part 400), including
notice in the Federal Register inviting
public comment (89 FR 92090,
November 21, 2024). On March 14,
2025, the applicant was notified of the
FTZ Board’s decision that no further
review of the activity is warranted at
this time. The production activity
described in the notification was
authorized, subject to the FTZ Act and
the FTZ Board’s regulations, including
section 400.14.
