All timely, unopposed 9 motions to
intervene are automatically granted by
operation of Rule 214(c)(1).10 Motions to
intervene that are filed after the
intervention deadline are untimely, and
may be denied. Any late-filed motion to
intervene must show good cause for

provide justification by reference to
factors set forth in Rule 214(d) of the

Take notice that on October 31, 2024,
pursuant to Rule 207(a)(5) of the Federal
Energy Regulatory Commission’s
(Commission) Rules of Practice and
Procedure,1 DTE Electric Company
submitted a request for a partial waiver
of the requirement to respond to the
2024 FERC Form 580 Interrogatory on
Fuel and Energy Purchase Practices, as
more fully explained in the request.
Any person desiring to intervene or to
protest this filing must file in
accordance with Rules 211 and 214 of
the Commission’s Rules of Practice and
Procedure (18 CFR 385.211, 385.214).
Protests will be considered by the
Commission in determining the
appropriate action to be taken, but will
not serve to make protestants parties to
the proceeding. Any person wishing to
become a party must file a notice of
intervention or motion to intervene, as
