SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: Due to circumstances beyond the control of the Designated Federal Officer, the Defense Business Board was unable to provide public notification required by 41 CFR 102–3.150(a) concerning its January 13, 2025 meeting. Accordingly, the Advisory Committee Management Officer for the Department of Defense, pursuant to 41 CFR 102–3.150(b), waives the 15-calendar day notification requirement. This meeting is being held under the provisions of chapter 10 of Title 5, United States Code (U.S.C.) (commonly known as the ‘‘Federal Advisory Committee Act’’ or ‘‘FACA’’), 5 U.S.C. 552b (commonly known as the ‘‘Government in the Sunshine Act’’), and 41 CFR 102–3.140 and 102–3.150. A determination has been made that Italy can provide substantially the same degree of protection for the sensitive technology being released as the U.S. Government. This sale is necessary in furtherance of the U.S. foreign policy and national security objectives outlined in the Policy Justification. 7. All defense articles and services listed in this transmittal have been authorized for release and export to Italy. POLICY JUSTIFICATION

Italy--AIM-120C-8 Advanced Medium-Range Air-to-Air Missiles

    The Government of Italy has requested to buy twelve (12) AIM-120C-8 
Advanced Medium Range Air-to-Air Missiles (AMRAAM) that will be added 
to a previously implemented case whose value was under the 
congressional notification threshold. The original Foreign Military 
Sales (FMS) case, valued at $32.5 million ($23.0 million in Major 
Defense Equipment (MDE)), included twelve (12) AIM-120C-8 AMRAAM
