leasing of solid minerals other than coal
and oil shale other than coal and oil
shale on Federal land, and the
development of those lease.

Background
The Commission instituted these
reviews on March 1, 2024 (89 FR 15217)
and determined on June 4, 2024 that it
would conduct expedited reviews (89
FR 59160, July 22, 2024).
The Commission made these
determinations pursuant to section
751(c) of the Act (19 U.S.C. 1675(c)). It
completed and filed its determinations
in these reviews on September 13, 2024.
The views of the Commission are
contained in USITC Publication 5544
(September 2024), entitled Certain Pasta
from Italy and Turkey: Investigation
Nos. 701–TA–365–366 and 731–TA–

an Initial Determination on Violation of
section 337. On September 13, 2024, the
presiding ALJ issued a Recommended
Determination on remedy and bonding
should a violation be found in the
above-captioned investigation. The
Commission is soliciting submissions
on public interest issues raised by the
recommended relief should the
Commission find a violation. This

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: Section
337 of the Tariff Act of 1930 provides
that, if the Commission finds a
violation, it shall exclude the articles
concerned from the United States
unless, after considering the effect of
such exclusion upon the public health
and welfare, competitive conditions in
the United States economy, the
production of like or directly
competitive articles in the United
States, and United States consumers, it
finds that such articles should not be
excluded from entry. (19 U.S.C.
1337(d)(1)).
The Commission is soliciting
submissions on public interest issues
raised by the recommended relief
should the Commission find a violation,
specifically: a limited exclusion order
directed to certain photovoltaic
connectors and components thereof
imported, sold for importation, and/or
sold after importation by respondents
Voltage, LLC and Ningbo Voltage Smart
Production Co. Parties are to file public
interest submissions pursuant to 19 CFR
210.50(a)(4).
The Commission is interested in
further development of the record on
the public interest in this investigation.
Accordingly, members of the public and
interested government agencies are
invited to file submissions of no more
than five (5) pages, inclusive of
attachments, concerning the public
interest in light of the ALJ’s
Recommended Determination on
Remedy and Bonding issued in this
investigation on September 13, 2024.
