Pacific Gas and Electric Company; Notice of Filing

    Take notice that on August 30, 2024, Pacific Gas and Electric 
Company (PG&E) submitted a waiver request to the Chief Accountant of 
the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (Commission or FERC) related 
to Account 165, Prepayments, of the Commission's Uniform System of 
Accounts, to allow PG&E to apply a $500,000 materiality threshold for 
recording prepayments on its balance sheet. PG&E requests that this 
waiver is applied prospectively, for a period of ten years, ending 
December 31, 2034.
    Any person desiring to intervene or to protest this filing must
