l. Description of Request: As a result
of a required six-year review process,
Alabama Power Company filed a
shoreline management plan update. The
update was developed in consultation
with stakeholders and contains updated
shoreline classification maps, as well as
requests: (1) to increase the period
between updates to 10 years; (2) expand
the residential permitting process; and
(3) permit specific existing utilities,
roads and bridges that cross project
lands.
