Federal Advisory Committee Act, as
amended, notice is hereby given of a
meeting.
The meeting will be closed to the
public in accordance with the
provisions set forth in sections
552b(c)(4) and 552b(c)(6), Title 5 U.S.C.,
as amended. The grant applications and
the discussions could disclose
confidential trade secrets or commercial
property such as patentable materials,
and personal information concerning
individuals associated with the grant
applications, the disclosure of which
would constitute a clearly unwarranted

a.m., to discuss the task statements

ACTION: Notice of open Federal advisory
committee meetings.
AGENCY:
The National Merchant
Marine Personnel Advisory Committee
(Committee) will meet in-person over
two days in Washington, DC to discuss
issues relating to personnel in the
United States Merchant Marine
including the training, qualifications,
certification, documentation, and fitness
of mariners. Several of the Committee’s
subcommittees will also be meeting. For
more detailed information regarding
subcommittees see Day 1, sections (5)
and (7) below.

Marine Personnel Advisory Committee
is scheduled to meet on Wednesday,
September 4, 2024, from 9 a.m. until
