for Climate Adaptation Science

ACTION: Notice of meeting.
AGENCY:
In accordance with the
Federal Advisory Committee Act
(FACA) of 1972, the U.S. Geological
Survey (USGS) is publishing this notice
to announce that a Federal advisory
committee meeting of the Advisory
Council for Climate Adaptation Science
(ACCAS) will take place and is open to
members of the public.
DATES: The meeting will be held
virtually on August 23, 2024, from 10
a.m. EDT to 5 p.m. EDT. The final
schedule will be made available in
advance of the meeting at: https://
www.usgs.gov/programs/climateadaptation-science-centers/advisorycouncil-climate-adaptation-science.
ADDRESSES: The meeting will be held
online via the Zoom meeting platform.
A registration link for public attendees
will be posted on the ACCAS website
page no later than two weeks prior to

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: This
meeting is being held consistent with
the provisions of the FACA (5 U.S.C. ch.
10), the Government in the Sunshine
Act of 1976 (5 U.S.C. 552B, as
amended), and 41 CFR part 102–3.
Purpose of the Meeting: The ACCAS
advises the Secretary of the Interior on
the operations of the USGS Climate
Adaptation Science Centers (CASCs).
ACCAS members represent state and
local governments; Tribes and
Indigenous organizations; nongovernmental organizations; academia;
and the private sector. Additional

approving lands for conveyance.
AGENCY:
The Bureau of Land
Management hereby provides
constructive notice that the decision
approving lands for conveyance to Cook
Inlet Region, Inc., notice of which was
published in the Federal Register on
May 2, 2024, will be modified by
removing the Remaining Obligation
Entitlement account balance figure, and
correcting the appraised value of the
lands approved in the decision.
DATES: Any party claiming a property
interest in the lands affected by the
decision may appeal the decision in
accordance with the requirements of 43
CFR part 4 within the time limits set out
in the SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION
section.
