These ancestors had not been previously reported to National NAGPRA. In consultation on May 2, 2024, The Chickasaw Nation requested that these ancestors be included in the current claim. Conservation and Environment, Division of Archaeology (TDEC-TDOA) has 
completed an inventory of human remains from Benton County, Tennessee 
and has determined in consultation that there is a cultural affiliation 
between the human remains and Indian Tribes or Native Hawaiian 
organizations in this notice.

DATES: Repatriation of the human remains in this notice may occur on or 
after August 29, 2024.
