ACTION: Notice of public meeting. AGENCY: The Pacific Fishery Management Council’s (Pacific Council) Ad-Hoc Klamath River Fall Chinook Workgroup will hold two online meetings. SUMMARY: The first online meeting will be held Tuesday, August 6, 2024 and the second meeting will be held Wednesday, September 4, 2024. Both meetings will occur from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m., Pacific Daylight Time, or until business for the day concludes. ADDRESSES: These meetings will be held online. SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: The primary purpose of the meeting is to discuss and further develop interim management measures, or a management framework, intended to address the response of Klamath River fall Chinook to the dynamic nature of the Klamath River environment and the available habitat immediately following dam removal, and post-dam removal until the natural environment is stabilized and the salmon population is more predictable. Additional discussions may include, but are not limited to, future meetings, workload planning, and upcoming items on the Pacific Council’s agenda. Although non-emergency issues not contained in the meeting agenda may be discussed, those issues may not be the subject of formal action during this meeting.
