FAA Order JO 7400.11H lists Class A, B, C, D, and E airspace areas, air traffic service routes, and reporting points. khammond on DSKJM1Z7X2PROD with PROPOSALS The Proposal The FAA proposes an amendment to 14 CFR part 71 to amend Class E airspace extending upward from 700 feet above the surface within a 7.3-mile radius (previously 5.5 miles) of Claremont Municipal Airport, Claremont, NH, and within 2 miles on each side of the 093° bearing of the airport, extending from the 7.3-mile radius to 15.1 miles east of the airport. An airspace evaluation caused this action due to the decommissioning of the Claremont NDB. The increased radius would encompass the remaining instrument approaches into this airport. Controlled airspace is necessary for the safety and management of instrument flight rules (IFR) operations in the area. Regulatory Notices and Analyses The FAA has determined that this proposed regulation only involves an established body of technical regulations for which frequent and routine amendments are necessary to keep them operationally current.
