ACTION: Notice of meeting. AGENCY: Under the Federal Advisory Committee Act (FACA), the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) gives notice of a virtual meeting of the National Environmental Education Advisory Council (NEEAC). The NEEAC was created by Congress to advise, consult with, and make recommendations to the Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency on matters related to activities, functions, and policies of EPA under the National Environmental Education Act (the Act). This meeting will be open to the public. For information on public attendance and participation, please see the registration information under SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION. The purpose of this meeting is to review the NEEAC charge and develop a work plan to produce the report to the EPA Administrator on the status of environmental education as stated in the National Environmental Education Act of 1990. DATES: The National Environmental Education Advisory Council will hold a virtual public meeting on Thursday, June 27th, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Central Standard Time.
