Take notice that on May 3, 2024, Gulf
South Pipeline Company, LLC (Gulf
South), 9 Greenway Plaza, Suite 800,
Houston, Texas 77046, filed in the
above referenced docket, a prior notice
request pursuant to sections 157.205
and 157.216(b) of the Commission’s
regulations under the Natural Gas Act
(NGA), and Gulf South’s blanket
certificate issued in Docket No. CP82–
430–000, for authorization to abandon

in place and partially by removal its
Mineola Compressor Station located in
Wood County, Texas (Mineola
Compressor Station Abandonment
Project). Specifically, Gulf South
proposes to disconnect and remove all
above-ground facilities and concrete
pipe supports; and abandon in place
two 330 horsepower compressor units,
compressor and storage buildings, and
appurtenant auxiliary facilities. The
project is in response to reductions in
demand for transportation services by
Gulf South’s customers in the area. Gulf
South no longer needs the facilities in
order to continue to provide firm
transportation service, all as more fully
set forth in the request which is on file
with the Commission and open to
public inspection.
