Background USPS seeks to implement a series of products to improve postal operations related to tool management and equipment support using Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology. These products will use RFID badge scans to track usage and provide access to tools. The system generates reports for restocking and analysis, and live dashboards are available to managers for customization. This system will further promote efficiency, as not only with USPS be able to track its workroom and tool assets but anticipate when perishable resources are running low and take appropriate action.
