A Federal Register notice with a 60day public comment period soliciting
comments on this collection of
information was published on January
17, 2024 (89 FR 2979). No comments
were received.
As part of our continuing effort to
reduce paperwork and respondent
burdens, we are again soliciting
comments from the public and other
Federal agencies on the proposed ICR
that is described below. We are
especially interested in public comment
addressing the following:
(1) Whether or not the collection of
information is necessary for the proper
performance of the functions of the
agency, including whether or not the
information will have practical utility;
(2) The accuracy of our estimate of the
burden for this collection of
information, including the validity of
the methodology and assumptions used;
(3) Ways to enhance the quality,
utility, and clarity of the information to

Abstract: The information is being
collected to meet the requirements of
sections 507, 508, 510, 515, 701 and 711
of the Surface Mining Control and
Reclamation Act of 1977, which require
applicants for special types of mining
activities to provide descriptions, maps,
plans and data of the proposed activity.
This information will be used by the
regulatory authority in determining if
the applicant can meet the applicable
performance standards for the special
type of mining activity.

Notice is hereby given that a
complaint was filed with the U.S.
International Trade Commission on
March 29, 2024, under section 337 of
the Tariff Act of 1930, as amended, on
behalf of GoPro, Inc. of San Mateo,
California. The complaint alleges
violations of section 337 based upon the
importation into the United States, the
sale for importation, and the sale within
the United States after importation of
certain cameras, camera systems, and
accessories used therewith by reason of
the infringement of certain claims of
U.S. Patent No. 10,015,413 (‘‘the ’413
patent’’); U.S. Patent No. 10,529,052
(‘‘the ’052 patent’’); U.S. Patent No.
10,574,894 (‘‘the ’894 patent’’); U.S.
Patent No. 10,958,840 (‘‘the ’840
patent’’); U.S. Patent No. 11,336,832
(‘‘the ’832 patent’’); and U.S. Design
Patent No. D789,435 (‘‘the D’435
patent’’). The complaint further alleges
that an industry in the United States
exists as required by the applicable
Federal Statute. The complainant
requests that the Commission institute
an investigation and, after the
investigation, issue a limited exclusion
order and cease and desist orders.
