The National Boating Safety
Advisory Committee (Committee) will
conduct meetings over three days in
Austin, Texas to discuss matters relating
to national boating safety. The meetings
will be open to the public and will
include in-person and virtual
attendance options.
DATES:
Meetings: The Committee will meet
on Tuesday April 23, 2024, from 8 a.m.
to 4:30 p.m. Central Daylight Time
(CDT). The Boats and Associated
Equipment, Prevention Through People,
and Recreational Boating Safety
Strategic Planning Subcommittees will
meet on Wednesday, April 24, 2024,

Committee was established on
December 4, 2018, by section 601 of the
Frank LoBiondo Coast Guard
Authorization Act of 2018, (Pub. L. 115–
282, 132 Stat. 4192), and is codified in

operates under the provisions of the
