Walgreen Field, Dixon, IL; removing the Polo VORTAC and associated extensions from the airspace legal description; and updating the name of the airport (previously Dixon Municipal-Charles R. Walgreen Field) to coincide with the FAA’s aeronautical database. The FAA is proposing this action as the result of an airspace review conducted due to the decommissioning of the Polo VOR as part of the VOR MON Program and to support IFR operations. Regulatory Notices and Analyses The FAA has determined that this proposed regulation only involves an established body of technical regulations for which frequent and routine amendments are necessary to keep them operationally current.
