AGENCY:
The Petitions
On January 25, 2024, the U.S.
Department of Commerce (Commerce)
received countervailing duty (CVD)
petitions concerning imports of certain
paper plates (paper plates) from China
and Vietnam filed in proper form on
behalf of the American Paper Plate
Coalition (the petitioner).1 The CVD
petitions were accompanied by
antidumping duty (AD) petitions
concerning imports of paper plates from
China, Thailand, and Vietnam.2
Between January 29 and February 6,
2024, Commerce requested
supplemental information pertaining to
certain aspects of the Petitions in
separate supplemental questionnaires.3
