In accordance with the Paperwork
Reduction Act of 1995 (44 U.S.C.
chapter 35), the NRC is requesting
public comment on its intention to
request the OMB’s approval for the
information collection summarized
below.
1. The title of the information
collection: Identity, Credential, and
Access Management System.
2. OMB approval number: An OMB
control number has not yet been
assigned to this proposed information
collection.
3. Type of submission: New.
4. The form number, if applicable:
Not applicable.
5. How often the collection is required
or requested: Once, at the time access is
requested.
6. Who will be required or asked to
respond: Identity, Credential, and
Access Management team at NRC.
7. The estimated number of annual
responses: 250.
8. The estimated number of annual
respondents: 250.
9. The estimated number of hours
needed annually to comply with the
information collection requirement or
request: 62.5 hours.
10. Abstract: The NRC collects
information from external partners and
members of the public that have a need
to use NRC’s secure web-based
applications. An applicant can request
an external partner digital credential
using NRC’s web-based credential
enrollment system. Once the applicant
has obtained an NRC digital credential,
it can be used to access select NRC
secure web-based applications directly
over the internet. The information
collected is limited to identity
information required for credential
issuance processes and includes: phone

numbers, email addresses, physical
mailing addresses, facial photographs,
photo identity documents, date of birth,
and identity information from a U.S.
driver’s license, U.S. Government PIV

Registration Receipt card (Form I–551)
or Employment Authorization
Document (Form I–766).
