another and work together to reduce risk
from floods and other natural hazards.

circumstances beyond the control of the
DFO and the DoD, the BoR USUHS was
unable to provide public notification
required by 41 CFR 102–3.150(a)
concerning its February 5, 2024
meeting. Accordingly, the Advisory
Committee Management Officer for the
DoD, pursuant to 41 CFR 102–3.150(b),
waives the 15-calendar day notification
requirement.
This meeting is being held under the
provisions of chapter 10 of title 5,
United States Code (U.S.C.) (commonly
known as the ‘‘Federal Advisory
Committee Act’’ or ‘‘FACA’’), 5 U.S.C.
552b (commonly known as the
‘‘Government in the Sunshine Act’’),
and sections 102–3.140 and 102–3.150
of title 41, Code of Federal Regulations
(CFR).
Purpose of the Meeting: The purpose
of the meeting is to provide advice and
recommendations to the Secretary of
Defense, through the USD(P&R), on
academic and administrative matters
critical to the full accreditation and
successful operation of Uniformed
Services University (USU). These
actions are necessary for USU to pursue
its mission, which is to educate, train,
and comprehensively prepare
uniformed services health professionals,
officers, scientists, and leaders to
support the Military and Public Health
Systems, the National Security and
National Defense Strategies of the
United States, and the readiness of our
Uniformed Services.
Agenda: The schedule includes
opening comments from the Chair; a
brief from the President of USU; an
update from the Assistant Secretary of
Defense for Health Affairs; an update
from the Liaison Committee of Medical
Education Site Survey visit; and a brief
on the USU Facilities Master Plan.
Meeting Accessibility: Pursuant to
Federal statutes and regulations (5
U.S.C. Appendix, 5 U.S.C. 552b, and 41
CFR 102–3.140 through 102–3.165), the
meeting will be held virtually and is

completed collection instrument is
processed by the NDU registrars and a
committee of NDU faculty who review
the application in consideration of
admission to a master’s degree program.
The successful effect of this information
collection is to satisfy NDU master’s
degree application requirements for
international students so that an
admissions decision can be made.
