chapter 35, requires the Government to obtain certified cost or pricing 
data from contractors prior to the award of certain contract actions. 
Contractors may be exempt from this requirement under certain 
conditions. This clearance covers the information that offerors or 
contractors must submit to comply with the following FAR requirements:
     FAR 52.214-28, Subcontractor Certified Cost or Pricing 
Data--Modifications--Sealed Bidding. When contracting by sealed
