On October 23, 2023, the City of Homer, Alaska, filed a notice of
intent to construct a qualifying conduit hydropower facility, pursuant
to section 30 of the Federal Power Act (FPA). The proposed Homer
Hydroelectric Energy Recovery Project would have an installed capacity
of 10 kilowatts (kW), and would be located within the applicant's
municipal water supply system in Homer, Kenai Peninsula Borough,
