AGENCY:
The Department of Justice
(DOJ), Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco,
Firearms and Explosives (ATF), will be
submitting the following information
collection request to the Office of
Management and Budget (OMB) for
review and approval in accordance with
the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995.
The proposed information collection
was previously published in the Federal
Register, on July 25, 2023, allowing a
60-day comment period.
DATES: Comments are encouraged and
will be accepted for 30 days until
November 27, 2023.

License Renewal Application—ATF
Form 8 (5310.11) Part II is used be
members of the public to renew a
Federal firearms license (FFL). The
collected information is used to identify

collection activity, and also to
determine the applicant’s eligibility for
a FFL renewal.
5. Obligation to Respond: The
obligation to respond is mandatory. The
statutory requirements are implemented
in Title 18 U.S.C. Chapter 44.
6. Total Estimated Number of
Respondents: 33,500 respondents.
7. Estimated Time per Respondent: 20
minutes.
8. Frequency: Once annually.
9. Total Estimated Annual Time
Burden: 16,750 hours.
10. Total Estimated Annual Other
Costs Burden: The public cost burden
will be reported as $21,105.00, which is
equal to $0.63 (mailing cost per
respondent) * 33,500 (# of respondents).
