Notice.
This notice amends the notice
of a major disaster declaration for the
State of Montana (FEMA–4726–DR),
dated August 12, 2023, and related
determinations.
SUMMARY:
This change occurred on August
14, 2023.
I have determined that the damage in
certain areas of the State of New Mexico
resulting from wildfires, straight-line winds,
flooding, mudflows, and debris flows during
the period of April 5 to July 23, 2022, is of
sufficient severity and magnitude that special
cost sharing arrangements are warranted
regarding Federal funds provided under the
Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and
Emergency Assistance Act, 42 U.S.C. 5121 et
seq. (the ‘‘Stafford Act’’).
Therefore, I amend my declarations of May
4, 2022, June 9, 2022, June 27, 2022, and
August 24, 2022, to authorize Federal funds
for Public Assistance, including direct
Federal assistance, at 100 percent of the total
eligible costs for projects undertaken in
response to the Cerro Pelado Fire in Los
Alamos and Sandoval Counties.
