SUMMARY:
PO 00000
I have determined that the damage in the
State of Vermont resulting from severe storms
and flooding beginning on July 7, 2023, and
continuing, is of sufficient severity and
magnitude that special cost sharing
arrangements are warranted regarding
Federal funds provided under the Robert T.
Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency
Assistance Act, 42 U.S.C. 5121 et seq. (the
‘‘Stafford Act’’).
Therefore, I amend my declaration of July
14, 2023, to authorize Federal funds for
emergency protective measures, including
direct Federal assistance at 100 percent of the
total eligible costs for a continuous 30-day
period of the State’s choosing within the first
120 days from the start of the incident
period.
