2. Any lineal descendant, Indian
Tribe, or Native Hawaiian organization
not identified in this notice who shows,
by a preponderance of the evidence, that
the requestor is a lineal descendant or
a culturally affiliated Indian Tribe or
Native Hawaiian organization.
Repatriation of the human remains
and associated funerary objects in this
notice to a requestor may occur on or
after October 19, 2023. If competing
requests for repatriation are received,
UC Davis and UC Berkeley must
determine the most appropriate
requestor prior to repatriation. Requests
for joint repatriation of the human
remains and associated funerary objects
are considered a single request and not
competing requests. UC Davis and UC
Berkeley are responsible for sending a
copy of this notice to the Indian Tribes
identified in this notice.

Repatriation Act (NAGPRA), the
University of Nevada, Las Vegas has
completed an inventory of human
remains and has determined that there
is no cultural affiliation between the
human remains and any Indian Tribe.
The human remains were removed from
Washoe County, NV.

AHUR 40, AHUR 41, AHUR 42, AHUR
43, AHUR 44, AHUR 45, AHUR 46,
AHUR 47, AHUR 48, AHUR 49, AHUR
50, AHUR 51, AHUR 52, AHUR 53,
AHUR 54, AHUR 55, AHUR 56, AHUR
57, and AHUR 58). No associated
funerary objects are present.
Aboriginal Land
The human remains in this notice
were removed from a known geographic
location. This location is the aboriginal
land of one or more Indian Tribes. The
following information was used to
identify the aboriginal land: a final
judgment of the Indian Claims
Commission.
