OSHA is requesting that OMB extend
the approval of the information
collection requirements contained in the
Standard on Hazardous Wastes
Operations and Emergency Response
(HAZWOPER). The agency is requesting
an adjustment decrease of 9,293 burden
hours (from 260,295 hours to 251,002
hours). This decrease is due to a slight
decline in the number of emergency
response organizations from 29,727 to
27,186, a decrease of 2,541
organizations.
OSHA will summarize the comments
submitted in response to this notice and
will include this summary in the
request to OMB to extend the approval
of the information collection
requirements.

currently approved collection.
