Description of Request: The applicant proposes to remove the Keno development from the project license to facilitate its conveyance to the U.S. Department of Interior (Interior) consistent with the Klamath Hydroelectric Settlement Agreement. The applicant states that the Keno development has no power-generating equipment, is not part of the project’s complete unit of development, and therefore no longer serves any project function. The applicant proposes to modify the project description, exhibits K, L, M, and R, and delete and/or modify license articles 35, 38, 55, 56, 57, 60, 66, and 67, consistent with removal of the Keno development from the authorized project. The applicant requests that the amendment become effective upon Interior’s taking title to the Keno development, anticipated in January 2024. The applicant provided documentation of consultation with resource agencies and Tribes. l.
