On May 25, 2023, the U.S.
Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC)
solicited comments on draft regulatory
guide (DG), DG–1404, ‘‘Guidance for a
Technology-Inclusive Content of
Application Methodology to Inform the
Licensing Basis and Content of
Applications for Licenses,
Certifications, and Approvals for NonLight-Water Reactors.’’ The public
comment period was originally
scheduled to close on July 10, 2023. The
NRC has decided to extend the public
comment period to allow more time for
members of the public to develop and
submit their comments.
DATES: The due date for comments
requested in the document published on
May 25, 2023 (88 FR 33846) is extended.
Comments should be submitted no later
than August 10, 2023. Comments
received after this date will be
considered, if it is practical to do so, but
the Commission is able to ensure

ACTION: Supplemental notice of
proposed rulemaking (SNPRM).
AGENCY:
The FAA is revising a notice
of proposed rulemaking (NPRM) that
would have applied to all Viking Air
Limited (Viking) (type certificate
previously held by Bombardier Inc. and
de Havilland, Inc.) Model DHC–3
airplanes. This action revises the NPRM
by changing the required action
specified in the proposed airworthiness
directive (AD). Additionally, the FAA is
publishing an Initial Regulatory
Flexibility Analysis (IRFA) to aid the
public in commenting on the potential
impacts to small entities from this
proposal. The FAA is reopening the
comment period to allow the public the
chance to comment on the revised
proposed action and whether the
revised proposed action would have a
significant economic impact on a
substantial number of small entities.
The FAA is proposing this AD to
address the unsafe condition on these
products and the agency is requesting
comments on this SNPRM.

on this SNPRM by August 14, 2023.
