the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995.
The proposed information collection

Abstract: The Request for Restricted
922(o) Machine Gun (National Firearms
Act) (NFA)—ATF Form 5320.24 must be
filed by Federal Firearms Licensees who
have paid the special (occupational) tax
to import, manufacture, deal in, or
transfer an NFA firearm to a similarly
qualified licensee. The completed ATF
Form 5320.24 will also serve as
supporting documentation for the
Application for Tax-Exempt Transfer of
Firearm and Registration to Special
Occupational Taxpayer—ATF Form 3
(5320.3) (ATF Form 3), which must be
completed by a law enforcement
authority requesting demonstration of
922(o) restricted machineguns.

respondents and the amount of time
estimated for an average respondent to
respond: An estimated 1,850
respondents will respond to this
collection once annually, and it will
take each respondent approximately 20
minutes to complete their responses.
6. An estimate of the total public
burden (in hours) associated with the

burden associated with this collection is
616 hours, which is equal to 1,850 (total
respondents) * 1 (# of response per
respondent) * .333333 (20 minutes or
