Abstract: This control number enables
the BLM to collect information about
Federal and Indian (except Osage Tribe)
onshore oil and gas leases. The
information facilitates accurate
measurement of oil and gas, production
accountability, payment of royalties that
are due, and prevention of theft and
loss. This Office of Management and
Budget (OMB) Control Number is
currently scheduled to expire on May
31, 2023. The BLM request that OMB
renew this OMB Control Number for an
additional three years.
Title of Collection: Oil and Gas
Facility Site Security (43 CFR subparts
3170 and 3173).
OMB Control Number: 1004–0207.
Form Numbers: None.
Type of Review: Extension of a
currently approved collection.
Respondents/Affected Public: Lessees,
operators, purchasers, and transporters
directly involved in producing,
transporting, purchasing, selling, or
measuring oil or gas through the point
of royalty measurement or the point of
first sale, whichever is later.
